The State Library's Business Information Centre provides access to a wide range of business literature and information sources. New titles and hot topics are regularly added. We are pleased to offer business information resources in the following areas: Company and Industry Information; Company Research; Country Research;Industry Information; New Business Enterprises; Personal Investment; Statistics.

SEaK: Business
The State Library’s SEaK program of free tours and workshops will show you how to Search Engage and Know your State Library and introduce you to our resources and collections. As places are limited bookings are required for all sessions.

Business News
The only Western Australian business newspaper - published weekly. Some content is also available on-line.

Australian Financial Review
Widely considered to be the most authoritative Australian business and finance daily newspaper.  Available on-line and in hardcopy.

Lloyd's List Daily Commercial News
A business newspaper focusing on Australian commodities, published three times a week.

Business Review Weekly: BRW
Probably the major Australian weekly business magazine.  Their web site includes BRW's popular 'top 500' listed and private company rankings.  This magazine is also available in hardcopy.

The Australian
The national daily newspaper gives authoritative cover of Australian events and includes a 'focus on western Australia' page in each edition.  Also available in hardcopy.

A convenient guide developed by the Department of Industry and Resources to provide a single entry point to Western Australian government services to business, with links to relevant agencies.

Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
ASIC is an independent government body that enforces and administers corporations law in Australia.  Their web site includes very useful business information pages and a topic-based directory of links to other business and regulatory organisations.

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)
ABS collects a wide range of statistics relevant to economics, industry and market research.  Most statistics, such as key national indicators and census of population and housing profiles for Western Australian urban centres and localities, are available through their web site.  State, major public and educational libraries receive ABS publications under their Library Extension Program.

Enterprise Connect
Enterprise Connect provides comprehensive support to Australian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them become more innovative, efficient and competitive.
