105 microfilm reels that provide details of all people sentenced to be transported from Ireland.

National Archives of Ireland Transportation Records Database
A searchable web database of many Irish convicts sentenced to be transported to Australia in the period 1788 - 1868. Compiled from transportation registers and petitions to government for pardon or commutation of sentence. A search provides references to the microfilm held within the Alexander Library Building and at other locations in Australia.

These databases provide access to the vast collection of genealogical resources collected and indexed by the Church which is based in Utah, U.S.A.

Coastguards of Yesteryear
This site contains a collection of station photographs, and facts and figures about the people who lived and worked as Coastguards around the Irish coastline between the 18th and early 20th centuries, as well as births, deaths and census information.

Freeholders Records
Freeholders' records are lists of people entitled to vote, or of people who voted, at elections. A freeholder was a man who owned his land outright (in fee) or who held it by lease which could be for one or more lives (for example, his own life or for the lives of other people named in the lease).

Irish Convicts to Australia 1791 - 1820
This database contains details of Irish convicts who were transported to New South Wales in the period 1791 - 1820. It also includes access to lists of ships carrying Irish convicts and details of Irish rebels transported in the period 1797 - 1806.

Searchable database from the 1901 Census for Ireland.  It is largely complete for most of Roscommon and all of Leitrim and includes some records for Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Westmeath.

National Archives of Ireland
The National Archives of Ireland has lots of useful information for the genealogist, including copies of actual documents.
