Cancelled Public Plans; Districts; Pre-Standard Series, 1856 - 1880, WAS 978
These plans illustrate the alienation and subdivision of land in the settled districts of Western Australia during the mid-19th Century. The plans are split into 15 subseries which reflect the fifteen land districts or regions composing the State at the time.
Cancelled Public Plans; Standard Series, 1878 - 1907, WAS 979
These plans represent the first attempt to cover Western Australia within one integrated, cadastral mapping system.
Cancelled Public Plans; Districts; Post Standard Series, 1893 - 1903, WAS 980
These plans comprise several types of cadastral maps that were drawn during the same period as the Standard Series. They generally conform to grids and scales within individual land districts.
Cancelled Public Plans; Original State Series, 1903 - 1972, WAS 981
These plans embody a cadastral mapping system based on the Bonne Modified Conical Projection. The latter provided for small, medium and large scale mapping of the State.
