Selected Print Resources
- The Europa World Yearbook provides detailed country surveys containing statistical, directory and analytical information for all countries and territories. Also includes information on major international organisations.
- OECD Economic Surveys provide data on the economic performance of OECD member countries.
- The Statesman's Yearbook contains economic, political, cultural and biographical information on each country of the world.

- Business Source Premier
Up-to-date comprehensive country reports which includes demographic, political, economic, and cultural information.
- Oxford Reference Online Premium
Provides electronic access in the Library to "A Guide to Countries of the World" This well known reference gives concise overviews of every country of the world.
To locate "A Guide to Countries of the World", look in "subjects and books" under "Names and Places".
Newspapers
The State Library provides access to newspapers from the most local to specialist and international titles. Newspapers are available in several formats.
