Non-Government Support for the Stolen Generations

A number of organisations throughout Western Australia offer services to support Aboriginal people who were part of or affected by the Stolen Generation. These services offer counselling and emotional support, as well as assisting to reunite family members seperated by the forced removal of children from their families. These services are generally run by Aboriginal-controlled organisations and people.
Emotional support and well-being
Bringing Them Home Counsellor Services are provided through a number of Aboriginal Health Service Aboriginal Corporation's to support individuals and families impacted by the policies and practices resulting in the Stolen Generations.
