Save Our Century Fund

The Save Our Century Fund is an initiative of the WA State Library Custodians to support The Library and Information Service of Western Australia to collect, preserve and present Western Australia's 20th century stories.

Robert Theobald to lecture at State Library

Internationally renowned Robert Theobald will present a public lecture at the Alexander Library Building Theatre on Saturday 19 September 1998 commencing at 2.00PM. The lecture is titled 'Reworking Tomorrow' and will focus on the future and the kind of society the world has or needs.

State Library Launches 'West Coast Kids' An exhibition which celebrates childhood

Celebrating Sir John Forrest's 150th Birthday
Born on 22 August 1847, John Forrest's extraordinary life will be celebrated at the Alexander Library Building Theatre by a specially commissioned 150th birthday lecture on Sunday 21 September commencing at 12.30pm.
