The Fairbridge Festival is a folk festival held at the historic village of Fairbridge which is one hour drive south of Perth. Blackwood River Chamber Festival
The Australian Yearbook of Music and Music Education describes the Blackwood River Chamber Festival as one which 'brings fine chamber music to the Blackwood River Valley, 280 kilometres south of Perth on the northern edge of the giant karri forests.  Seven concerts are held over the ANZAC weekend at the end of April. The music is performed in halls, churches, vineyards and the gardens of private homes within easy reach of Bridgetown, the festival's centre.' (p161)
