Sydney Opera House

The Aria Database
A searchable reference guide to arias by name, opera, language, and voice type including word-by-word translations into English, libretti, and MIDI files for many of the arias. The database includes the complete set of operatic arias of Mozart and Verdi as well as many others.

Operissimo
Recommended by the American review journal Choice. This site contains databases on composers, artists, opera houses and operas. The composer database lists works and premieres, including a list of roles and performers and sometimes a list of recordings. The artist database includes biographical information and contact details.
