Ginger Beer
Bruise 6 whole ginger and boil in about 2 quarts water, have 5 lbs white suger ready in a vessel you are making it in, and pour the hot ginger on to the sugar, then fill up 5 gallons cold water, 3/4 pkt. tartaric acid, 1 tablespoon essence lemon, 1/2 cup strong yeast.
