BT Directory Enquiries
British Telecom's directory enquiry service for people and businesses in the United Kingdom.  Also gives full addresses including postcodes, and streetmaps of location (please note that about 50% of UK subscribers have silent numbers).

Over 400 links to yellow pages, white pages, business directories, email addresses and fax directories from more than 184 countries.

AnyWho Online Directory
AT&T's links to international white and yellow pages. Also gives links to American maps, area codes and toll-free numbers.

Australia Post
Find Australian postcodes for suburbs and towns, and general postal information for other countries.

Postcodes Online
Search for United Kindom postcodes using a combination of number or building name, street and town name. (Free, but registration required, see Business & Management staff for assistance if you are in the Alexander library building).

United States Postal Service
Use this site to find United States postcodes (zipcodes). Full street address, city and state details are required.

New Zealand Postcode Finder
Postcodes are only used in New Zealand for bulk mail discounts.

Alphabetical list of countries providing links to postcode sites.

A complete set of the latest yellow and white page telephone directories for New South Wales; Northern Territory; Queensland; Tasmania; Victoria; South Australia; Canberra and Western Australia is held in the Business and Management section on the first floor.

Western Australian Telephone Directories
Western Australian telephone directories are available in print and on microfiche (dating back to 1919, but with gaps) in the Battye Library on the third floor.
