At Work continued

Those quaint pictures of old shops with their old lettered signs, window displays and verandahs across the footpath are also photographs of the women who owned the business.  Why didn't we see that before?  In histories boasting of the importance of development and prosperity, none mention businesses owned by women and what their contribution might be.
