Learning at the Library
The State Library of Western Australia is committed to supporting literacy and learning for all Western Australians.
We offer a range of information sessions and interactive programs for school groups - find more information about these on the Education page.
Have a look at our new Community, Learning and Discovery brochure to find out more about the learning programs and sessions on offer. If you'd like a hard copy, email jocelyne.gaudet@slwa.wa.gov.au.
We are developing a new 'Discover the Library' session for new library members. It will be launched in early 2012, and will help clients search our website, the library catalogue and provide hints and tips on e-resources. There will also be a brief tour of the library to show where collections and resources are found.
The Family History subject specialists run tours and workshops on the first Wednesday of every month from February through to November.
